A Literal “New” Earth
What’s Going to Happen to the Old One?
God’s Perspective
With God being so particular about cleanliness,
we can see why he is also particular
about the foundations of His “New Earth”.
Spiritual Cleanliness
Bible readers can recall how Jehovah required
Moses to take off his sandals before stepping
on Holy Ground – in the case of the burning
bush and when he ascended Mount Horeb.
(Exodus 3:5)
We will also be stepping upon “Holy” ground,
when we first step onto the “New Earth” of
God’s making. It will be a pure and pristine
planet – exactly like the one that Adam and
Eve had enjoyed in the beginning.
A New Earth
Has Been Created
A New Earth’s been created
and is ready to replace
the cancered one we live in
our habitat disgrace
For God above decided
that a new one was the best
for this Old Earth needs too much work
to straighten out this mess
Although He has the power
to change and clean our Globe
It never was His plan to
As scriptures have foretold
A seamstress will quickly tell you
Tis easier to make
A brand new shiney garment
than to alter or to take
An old and shabby frame work
that no longer fits the time
and try to change, erase and plane
and wipe away the grime
The rust and rot of metal
upon a junk yard car
can teach us all a lesson
when we’ve taken it too far
Too far to give good reason
to spend our precious cash
installing all new fixtures
a huge transforming task
Jehovah doesn’t justify
the things he plans to do
But knowing His good reasons
He shares His Godly view
For When you take a real good look
at the State our Planet’s in
We see in our ecology
the ravages of sin
Mankind’s greed for more and more
with thoughtless – “I don’t care”
contaminates all we touch,
the land, the sea, and air
Our chemical spills, and poisoned dumps
Our garbage and our grease
Our factories belch darkened soot
Our myriad cars release
the smoke and fuels that foul the air
and kill the birds that Fly
We drink vile water from the ground
causing cancer – so we die
This earth’s no longer stable
the cushion for the plates
have been siphoned for our vehicles
disheveling earthly grates
Yes, the oily petro buffer
that supported shelves within
was pumped and drained – leaving just a frame
causing earthquakes to begin
The picture can’t be painted
any grimmer than it is
How thankful our creator
cares just how mankind lives
For He has made a New Earth
which will replace the old
A promise that He’s written
by the prophets, He foretold
After He has finished
Burning up this mess
The New Earth will be given
to those whom God will bless
The meek and mild tempered
will take their favored place
upon an earth just like the first
before the cursed mistake
I know you can just see it
in the joy of your mind’s eye
the perfect land, from God’s own hand
that Jehovah will supply
Why did God created a New Earth ?
Couldn’t he just clean up the Old One ?
God’s Viewpoint
The Old Earth – it Offends me
In every single way
It stinks to highest heaven
more rancid every day
I see the many sinners
who defy me and my rules
I see the many years of greed
I see the many fools
Who plunder and betray you
who steal and cheat and lie
I see the butchered people
I see them with my eye
Although I don’t have tear ducts
nor lids of skin as you
I feel the pain of acid rain
I feel the poisoned dew
Each inch of earthly soil
cries to me aloud
for all the blood it’s holding
that fell from murder’s cloud
The buildings hold their secrets
of Lust and savage rape
and every town and every wall
holds horrors at their gate
But I see all the detail
of sin and mankind’s gore
I see each bludgeoned lover
as graves cry out for more
I see the pregnant mother
as she kills her infant life
the bursting of each fetus
torn by abortion’s knife
I see the false defenders
the courts who back the lie
justice for the killer
yes, I see them with my eye
I see the world uncovered
the drugs that ruin man
I see the addict’s demon
that leads him by the hand
I see the ruination
of the earth that once was pure
It reeks of degradation
There is no magic cure
I hate the high rise towers
I hate what man has done
I hate the concrete pavement
I hate the sickened slum
I hate the place of worship
where man has worshipped wrong
I hate the statues of their saints
I hate their pagan song
The cross of pure defiance
They thrust into my face
Atop their heightened steeples
their fortress of disgrace
For nothing that has happened
has gone unseen by me
every thing upon the earth
has plagued my revery
I hate the earth for it contains
the memories of man’s past
each place I turn, I can discern
the smell of poisoned gas
I will not start the New World
with the raunch of old Earth’s grime
I won’t allow my chosen ones
to have memories of a time
When Life was so bad for them
and they cried to me in grief
I want nothing to remind them
so they can have relief
For if I left the old earth
they’d be haunted with the sight
of all the things that memories bring
in the terror dreams of night

Jehovah knew in Advance
that he would have to Create
“A New Earth”
Jehovah’s Viewpoint
I knew I would replace the earth
I knew it in advance
I knew mankind would ruin it
If given half a chance
Way back in the beginning
when Adam rejected me
I knew I’d have to give man room
for him to finally see
That life apart from my kind hand
would bring him pain and grief
and that mankind would need some help
only “I” could bring relief
After Eden’s vast destruction
I took steps to prepare
another planet that would replace
the earth and all its fare
I’ve made this NEW EARTH identical
in every single way
to the one that you now live on
to the one where you now stay
Except without the squalor
without the stench of blood
for it will full resemble
the earth before the Flood
You’ll see there’ll be No oceans
but only streams and lakes
and rivers full of blessings
for this is all t’will take
To make your lives pure pleasure
be joyful through and through
you’ll find all you could hope for
in the Earth I’ve made for you
I have my plans to move you
onto this planet Great
at the end of Armageddon

God has created a “New” Earth, just as he promised
that he would, recorded in the scriptures from long ago.
And this new earth will last forever. It will be
perfect in every way, just as the first earth was
– back in the days of Adam and Eve.
No air poolution, no water pollution, and no
chemical pollution of any kind. The concrete jungles,
the garbage dumps, the blistering weather damage,
the ghetto’s and graffitti of mankind’s ruin,
will all be missing from God’s New Earth.

so many years ago. What a loving and brilliant
provider he is – to give such a wonderful reward to

provide for the people he cares so much for.

Building upon Clean Foundations
Bible readers will also remember that God
never allowed true worship to occur at locations
where pagan worship had been performed previously.
Pagan temples were torn down, crushed and burned,
rather than renovated or converted into a Jewish
Synogogue or Temple. This has always been Jehovah’s
way – and it still is. – see (Exodus 23:24) (Ex 34:13)

For years, the earth has been dominated by a
pagan and gentile population that has rejected
and hated Jehovah. This religious empire – is
known as “Babylon the Great” and has filled
the earth with her lies and religious corruption.
Churches, temples, cathedrals, pagan altars,
religious shrines, sanctuaries, monastaries,
convents, sacred groves, sacred poles and
numerous false religious buildings have been
built all over the earth. The earth has become
saturated and corrupt with these reminders
of the world’s rebellion against Jehovah God.
The earth is filled with the blood spilled during
the abominations of horrors that have been done
in the name of “religion”. The cellars of convents
and even the cellars of St. Peters in Rome – still
hold the torture chambers and contraptions of the
“Holy” Inquisitions of former times.
This earth is also filled with all the blood shed
during mankind’s wars of greed and cruelty that
were generated by hatred and power struggles
around the world.
This ugly stained “old” earth is certainly not a
place for Jehovah to build his “New Earth” upon.
A “New” Clean Earth
upon a Dirty Foundation ?
Reward or Punishment ?
“Happy are the meek and mild – since they will
inherit the earth.” (Matt 5:5)
That sounds like a reward, and not a punishment.
Jehovah does not want to start rewarding his New
Earth survivors with a task of cleaning up a
planet that is filled with the remnants of the
former filthy tenants.
Look around you. Look at the news.
What honest hearted person wants to clean up
this mess : the oil spills, the garbage dumps,
the concrete cities with their slums and ghettos,
the polluted rivers and lakes, the chemical dumps,
radioactive contamination from nuclear accidents,
groundwater pollution, air pollution, the mercury
poisoning in our oceans, and the list goes on.
With all of this in mind, we can see why Jehovah
does not plan to build his New Earth upon the
foundations of a dirty, polluted, and ruined “old” earth.
Jehovah has wonderful plans for obedient mankind.
He has already created the “New” Earth that we have
been waiting for. It is a pure and pristine planet
that does not need any back breaking work to fix.

Reasons Why God is
Scrapping the Old Earth
And Making a New One

Just look at these pictures. Around the world
mankind has erected huge jungles of concrete
that block the sun and pollute the environment.
Some cities are so massive – that even trees have
no room to grow. How different from Jehovah God’s
original plans for mankind.
Think about having to tear down all these
monolithic giants in order to make way for the
promised paradise. Some Bible scholars have
even said that God would give this project to mankind
who survives the great day of Jehovah. How could
that be a reward for obedient mankind – to have
to strain and struggle to remove all the decay
from this old earth ?
What type of reward would it be for obedient
survivors to have to tear down the concrete jungles
that reach clear to the sky? It sounds more like
a punishment than a reward. In fact when I look
at these pictures and try to envision removing them
and dismantling them, it makes me shudder. It’s
worse than any of my nightmares.
True to Form
Jehovah has his way, His “Modus Operandi”,
his method of operation – his typical way
of doing things. Yes, Jehovah is famous
for doing things a certain way.
In the past – it has been Jehovah’s Way,
to replace things, rather than try to
build upon them, especially when they
have been corrupted in any way.
Jehovah has been known to tear down,
crush, and utterly destroy anything that
has offended him.
Pagan temples were not allowed to stand,
when Jehovah’s people inhabited the land.
Not only did Jehovah require the teamples
to be thrown down, but then later crushed
into dust that was blow away. Jehovah never
allowed his people to build his sacred places
of worship at the same sight that a pagan
temple had once stood.
